





3. The knot is now tightened by pulling the main line while there is also slightly tugged on the short end. Cut the short end off close to the hook.

REMARKS
* Always wet your knot with saliva before tightening. This prevents friction which can either damage the line or weaken it when the knot is tightened.

*End tackle refers to hook trace, sinker trace, as well as the last metre or so of your main line.
